My name is Maria McCarthy, I share a passion for sports especially athletics and triathlon. It always gives me great pleasure to meet and engage with runners and athletes of all levels from beginners to competitive athletes all with the same goal, we simply want to RUN BETTER and compete better. We all have a common ground, understanding and a mutual respect for for each other.
The observations of the effects of my own body experience has allowed me to share my knowledge of tried and tested methods that I have learned from other great coaches, mentors and athletes.
Through motivation, inspiration and using the latest techniques and fitness aspects of training has helped me achieve my dream.

Since then, I have been running, swimming, cycling, competing and successfully coaching clients from all levels to reach their own goals no matter what they are.
I’ve had my share of niggles and injuries over the years usually as a result of overuse and misuse. I decided to take another journey through education. I found a method of soft tissue treatment that made sense to me and works. 
Neuromuscular Therapy
Since qualifying  I have been able to help a lot of people using Neuromuscular Technique. 
This type a treatment is suitable for the general population suffering from soft tissue pain.
